Our Services
California Foster Families is licensed to conduct Resource Family Approval (RFA), which means that we provide the approval process for new Resource Parents. Resource Parents may include biological family members, family friends or other parties interested in assisting children in the child welfare and probation systems. This process has previously been known as the certification process for foster parents.
Our agency also provides professional support services and resources to ensure the success of every child and family. Services include:
- Weekly case management by the assigned Social Worker
- Evening home visits
- Individual and group therapy
- 24-hour on call support
- Treatment focused on skill building and meeting the concrete needs of the child and family
- In-home specialized training for Resource Families
- Family-focused, agency sponsored events and outings
